		<description>After listening to Hans Rott&#039;s First Symphony, composed before Mahler&#039;s First, I must conclude Mahler&#039;s musical voice was not original at all - as much as I love Mahler, I am in awe of Rott&#039;s Symphony - I believe Mahler took Rott&#039;s voice and ran with it, so to speak - Mahler himself said Rott was the &quot;Founder of the New Symphony&quot;</description>
