I enjoy Anna Netrebko’s performances because she brings to her operatic roles her youth, her vivacious personality, as well as her presence, sparkle, and charisma. This is full – blown Metropolitan Opera spectacular. Scenery, costumes, direction, sound, everything comes together in a gorgeous production.
Anna Netrebko is a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. It is warm, lush, and immediately recognizable. She has a commanding stage presence, and seemingly also a nice sense of humor. This is an all-around great performance.
