Ehnes plays Bach

I have previously commented on the fine performances, lush tone, and excellent musical expression of Canadian violinist James Ehnes. Here is yet another excellent recording by this fine artist.

There are several examples of performing artists who resort to all sorts of behavior and clothing assistance to promote their careers. It seems as though Mr. Ehnes is basically a fine violinist, working hard to gain recognition and respect based on excellence of his playing. My sense is that he’s on the road to great success.
