Orchestra concert!

 

Event at Carnegie Hall.

  • The Philadelphia Orchestra will give what promises to be an amazing concert on Feb. 21st at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin, who is completing his conducting performances of the Opera “Rusalka” at the Metropolitan Opera, brings his fine orchestra up from Philadelphia to NYC again.

The program:

  • Richard Strauss’ “Metamorphosen”
  • Dmitry Shostakovich’s First Cello Concerto (with Cellist Truls Mørk)
  • Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3, “Eroica.”
