Yo Yo Ma Concert.

Great concert, despite the cold weather—

It’s so exciting to be in New York! Yea, it’s a mess right now, with the snow, the cold, and the flight cancellations.

Still, I can dream: I went to NYC several years ago, just to take in an overdose of music. Wish I could do it again.

Here’s an example of what I’d want to enjoy:

This month’s collection of concerts at Carnegie Hall includes an all-Brahms recital by two of my favorite artists: Yo Yo Ma, and Emanuel Ax.

They perform both of the Sonatas for Cello and Piano by Johannes Brahms, in addition to the cello transcription of the composer’s First Violin Sonata.
