Performed by the Brazilian Guitar Quartet.

With this CD, the guitar ensemble pays homage to the music of Spain.

Spain’s wide-ranging regional musical styles are most often represented by more than 1,000 dance forms.

The album’s eighteen selections – mostly dances – are derived primarily from piano works by six of the best-known 20th-century Spanish composers: Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados, Joaquin Rodrigo, Federico Mompou and Joaquin Turina.

As you can see from the videos below, the BGQ, while best known as Latin American specialists, also has special abilities for the Spanish sound and spirit.
