When your goal is to become a professional musician, it is wise to begin early. “Begin”, in this case, applies to winning competitions.

In the violin performance area, winning a prize at the Yehudi Menuhin Competition, is a sure sign of success.

The 2014 Competition took place in Austin, Texas from the 21st of February to the 2nd of March.

In 2014, 14 – year old Japanese violinist, Rennosuke Fukuda, was awarded the 1st Prize in this year’s Junior Division.
