Two Great Events.

New York String Orchestra Performs.

Before the end of 2014, you still have a nice opportunity to enjoy two fine concerts at Carnegie Hall this week:

The annual concert of this ensemble of young string musicians, which includes outstanding wind, brass, and percussion players, too, under the longtime guidance of conductor/violinist Jaime Laredo, is an annual holiday event at Carnegie Hall.

There are two performances dates:

  • Dec. 24 at 7:00 PM
  • Dec. 28 at 2:00 PM

The Christmas Eve concert features an all – Mozart program, offering the following:

  • “Impresario” Overture.
  • Symphony No. 39.

The second concert features the following:

  • Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings
  • Samuel Barber‘s Violin Concerto (with Augustin Hadelich as soloist)

For tickets, call 212-247-7800.

Enjoy!
