James Levine leads one of America’s finest orchestras at Carnegie Hall in Brahms’ symphonic First Piano Concerto and Berlioz’s “Symphonie Fantastique.” Pianist Yefim Bronfman, the soloist in the Brahms, has an amazing ability to combine great pianistic power with sensitive and delicate interpretations. And it is wonderful that James Levine has come back from a long time in which he had to cope with illness and injury, and he is now able to lead this concert. Venue:
