Anne-Sophie Mutter interview:

For many years now, I have admired the musicianship, the skills, the passion, and the performances of violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter.

Yesterday I watched an interview with her. And I learned a lot more about this amazing woman:

I found her to be expressive, highly confident, definitive in her opinions, and as human as the rest of us…

When she was asked about the saddest moment of her life, she responded that it was when Cancer took away the father of her children.

After so many years of only knowing the violinist and the interpreter of Mozart and Beethoven, this interview showed me the person behind the music, as it were. And it was a deeply personal experience and a privilege to be allowed to see this.
