Music for You

Theme & Variations. Pianist Carol Rosenberger has a distinctive style and sound. Clearly this is based on her fine pianistic skills, and seemingly also on her use of her Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand. The program on this CD features three complete great works in the ever-popular theme-and-variations format: Beethoven:

  • Piano Sonata No. 30 in E major, Op. 109

Mozart:

Schubert:

  • Impromptu in B flat major, D935 No. 3

Performed by Carol Rosenberger (piano). What a collection this is! These composers are three giants from the field of music. Beethoven on one occasion mused that he will never be able to equal Mozart. And Franz Schubert’s brief life still produced major symphonies, some amazing chamber music, music for piano, as well as 600 surviving Lieder. Here is Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 32, as played by Carol Rosenberger:   https://youtu.be/w4SC1r09Rt4   And finally, here is Ms. Rosenberger sharing with us why music is so meaningful for her:   https://youtu.be/FeBvQ9XHAxg   Tags: Carol Rosenberger, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert
