I listened to pianist Yuja Wang today. She is not only a pianistic wizzard, she also has a lot of personal charm that I admired when I watched her in an artistic interview.
On this CD, she plays the Rachmaninov Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op 43. And this piece a has a huge admiration by all who hear it. Sergei Rachmaninov composed a series of variations on this theme that have endeared the composer to the listening public.
Here she is performing Rachmaninov’s third concerto in an open air setting, and I know you’ll enjoy it.
