When it is played by an expert, the violin concerto by Jean Sibelius comes off as a totally amazing composition, because of its passion, its warmth, and its rhythms. In my view, one of the top performers of this piece now is the Greek-born violinist, Leonidas Kavakos.
I would go to this event if I were closer to NYC… I am sure that you’ll love it…
