David Oistrakh Performs

When I was studying violin, I would listen for hours to the late David Oistrakh. His sound was awesome! Warm, dark, resonant, brilliant. It is worthwhile to remember some of these artists who have now left us.

Here is a recording that is a terrific vehicle for bringing back these memories:
