Alicia de Larrocha!

Alicia de Larrocha!

The legendary Spanish pianist, Alicia de Larrocha, died on 26 Sept. 2009 at age 86. She was a wonderful performer of Mozart, and she also brought us unique interpretations of the romantic music of Spain.

In this CD, we hear the great music of Manuel de Falla, as well as Albeniz and Turina.

The tracks are:

• Nights in the Gardens of Spain – 1
• Nights In The Gardens Of Spain – 2

• Nights In The Gardens Of Spain – 3

• Rapsodia Española

• Rapsodia Sinfonica

This is exciting, haunting, and wonderfully melodic music, as performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Rafael Fruehbeck de Burgos
