Ms. Netrebko has a beautiful voice, and also the ability to meld her own voice with other singers who are joining her in a performance. She expresses herself in a most musical way, with fine phrasing and excellent adherence to dynamics. While some of the above arias are very well known, it is nevertheless exciting to hear what an artist of Ms. Netrebko’s caliber can do with them to create excitement for the public.
Here is a video showing Ms. Netrebko’s wonderful voice, and… her terrific stage presence!
She sings “Meine Lippen sie Kuessen so heiss” (My Lips Kiss With Such Fire)
