Glenn Gould died on October 4, 1982. As part of the 30th anniversary of his death at age 50, music lovers have come to see many new recordings and re-releases of Mr. Gould’s interpretations. On this CD, we get Sony Classical’s tribute in a 2 CD + book hardcover edition – a great collector’s item.

This is a perfect introduction to the fascination that surrounds Glenn Gould – his life, his music and his pianistic style. The 2-CD edition contains a biography of the artist, a Glenn Gould lexicon with 32 facts about Gould, and a 192-page booklet with many previously unpublished photos. CD 1 features unique Bach recordings, while CD 2 contains always interesting readings of other composers’ music.
