I usually prefer to listen to complete opera recordings; but if you want to hear selection of great arias, this album is for you!
Rolando Villazon is terrific and he sings so passionately. Anna Netrebko has such a beautiful voice, and she puts so much drama into her singing that you don’t have to see her to understand all the different emotions that Violetta is going through.
There is a DVD that comes with this album, and that is a very nice bonus.
