On this new recording, violinist Pinchas Zukerman performs music by British composers whose music he loves.
We get to hear “The Lark Ascending” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and also Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, and Edward Elgar’s “Introduction and Allegro” and “Serenade for Strings”.
This recording also contains the Premier recording of “Moonlight” for solo Viola, strings and harp based on music by Edward Elgar.
