Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti will show her fans her warm, gleaming tone when she performs Bach’s glorious Chaconne from the Partita No. 2.
She is joined by longtime partner Alexei Grynyuk for the richly Romantic sonatas by Sergei Prokofiev and Richard Strauss. She also performs the West Coast premiere of Fiddle Dance Suite, a new work for solo violin by Wynton Marsalis.
