Paavo Jarvi Conducts Brahms’ Symphonies

Conductor Paavo Järvi returns to conduct the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen for his first-ever recordings of Brahms’ Symphonies No. 3 & No. 4.

Järvi’s first concert with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen included Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 and its success eventually led to their close collaboration. In this highly anticipated recording, the acclaimed Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen display the utmost virtuosity, vividness, excitement and energy.

Johannes Brahms (1833—1897) is one of the most revered German composers of the romantic period. Brahms is often grouped alongside composers Bach and Beethoven. Together they are collectively known as the “Three B’s”.
